The Heartbeat of Stone by 3D-Fantasy-Art The Heartbeat of Stone by 3D-Fantasy-Art
"What I would give ... to hear this heart beat again. For that, I would gladly forsake my immortality, for it is nothing but a curse in a world without him."

Edit: Updated 26/01/13 for print creation.

I apparently put this together back in January and I stumbled across it the other day while mooching around my Vue folder. I had completely forgotten it, but thought it might be worth working through and rendering out. Kinda glad I did now. :)

I really love the softness that Vue gives to this scene. It is gorgeous, and a heartbreaking scene

Vue is definitely on my to get list- likely the next program I do get.
I'll be getting one of the suites. More expensive, yes, but they usually
end up cheaper in the long run, considering all the modules that get
plugged into Vue.
The last couple of images, I have had ideas that would have looked
spectacular in Vue.

The emotion in this piece, conveyed through the lighting and expression of the woman, makes this piece quite beautiful, although sad. The combination of sorrow and wistfullness creates an emotional atmosphere that is very touching, and this was definitely worth working through. Excellent work.

Nice stuff. I must ask though, is the graininess intentional?

:icon3d-fantasy-art:

I didn't think it was particularly grainy overall, apart from the stone textures, which are, I guess, grainy! There is a lot of stone in this one though. ;)
